These are great places to find research on your specific market to determine a specific topic to write about. The best way to do that is to see what people are talking about and see what problems they are experiencing. A list of places and how to use them follows:

1. Google groups
2. Yahoo groups
3. MSN groups
4. Forum directory

With the above list, search out the groups and forums in your target market and see what kinds of questions are asked on a regular basis, or what kinds of frustrations or problems people are experiencing that tend to come up more that once. This is a great place to start once you have this information because at this point, you will know you are writing about a subject of interest to people.
